Subject: Formal Complaint About Our Recent Dining Experience

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the experience my group and I had at your restaurant during our recent visit. Unfortunately, several issues left us feeling dissatisfied and regretting our choice to dine at your establishment.
1.Preorders Not Fulfilled
We were not informed that our preorders would not be fulfilled on the day of our visit. This lack of communication caused unnecessary confusion and frustration.
2.Starter Quality
The bread served with our starter was rock hard and completely inedible. This is unacceptable and far from the quality we expected.
3.Main Course Issues
The turkey was served cold, and the Brussels sprouts were undercooked and hard. This lack of attention to food quality was very disappointing, especially during what should have been a special meal.
4.Dessert Presentation and Service
The dessert service was particularly disheartening. The ice cream arrived melted and was carelessly shoved onto the table, causing it to slide off. To make matters worse, it was not replaced, which reflects poor etiquette and a lack of basic customer service.
Last Christmas, we dined at the Harvester, which offered better-quality food and service at a significantly lower price. Based on the reputation of your restaurant, we had high expectations for a memorable experience in a beautiful setting. However, we left feeling let down and as though we had been overcharged for subpar service and food.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, as we expected much more from your establishment. I look forward to your response and to understanding how you plan to address these concerns.
