Simon and Tania Johnson have owned Tinamba Hotel since October 2020 and feel honoured to be the custodians of the hotel’s proud heritage as they build upon a vision from previous owners, Brad Neilson, Damien Gannon, the Schoenmaeker and Whelan families.

Using the finest, locally grown fresh produce from local suppliers and working with the most talented chefs in the region is what the Johnsons believe sets Tinamba Hotel apart. The signature dishes deliver a truly memorable experience, served in a setting famously known as Gippsland’s favourite destination dining venue.

    Myself and 4 friends went for a girls catchup luncheon and were not disappointed. From the time we got there we were waited on hand and foot by our waiter Nick with both food and drinks. Nothing was to much trouble. The food was wonderful and Simon was a great host/owner. We will be back again soon.

    Excellent service from Simon and friendly helpful staff the moment you arrive. Options on the menu include degustation and A La Carte. Enjoyed the kangaroo rump cooked to perfection. Nice list of wines by the glass to accompany your meal.

    Another amazing meal at the Tinamba Hotel. They have some lovely areas to dine in and the staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable. The food is exquisite and with a constantly updated menu there is always something new to try. Can't wait to come here again!

    Highly recommend Tinamba Hotel. It ticks lol the boxes- classy venue, amazing food and outstanding service. We are so lucky to have this establishment at our doorsteps and need to ensure that we support it so that it can remain for many years to come.
