Tintoque seeks to be a cultural link that expresses the gastronomic journey of the passage of the years in the bay, finding flavors and elements that mark each stage in the history of Puerto Vallarta.

Here a different proposal of creative cuisine is presented based on the essence of regional recipes and ingredients, with the best product offered by the Mexican Pacific, materialized with the influence of the kitchens and trips that have marked the life of the Vallarta Chef Joel Ornelas; who transmits a signature cuisine that manages to be a true gastronomic experience for lovers of good food and all those who seek to refine their palate with unique experiences.

The Culinaria Mexicana publishing house has awarded Tintoque for the third consecutive year as one of the 120 best restaurants in Mexico in its "Guide Mexico Gastronomico 2020".

    I’m not one to write reviews but our experience was something that needs to be shared. Sadly this restaurant did not live up to our expectations despite the amazing reviews we read. The courses were small, bland, no meats, mostly all fish dishes and the wine pairings were all whites and one rose at the end and way too big of pours to enjoy a wine with each pairing. You have to prepay through open table so I got charged 3 times each time with international fees and one charge refunded but not the fees. Not worth the price at all. They completely rushed us through the courses and servers weren’t very personal. We are sadly disappointed by this experience.

    Absolutely fantastic! So delicious and innovative. Every course was unique and picture perfect. The staff was crazy attentive. Do the wine pairing!

    Tintoque is reason enough to visit Puerto Vallarta. One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in all of North America. Truly exceptional. The tasting menu and wine pairing were so thoughtfully constructed and the extraordinary servers and sommelier obviously cared about every detail. I will return to Vallarta for this experience alone.

    We had an amazing New Year Eve many course dinner with matching wines from Mexico. Very expensive, $200 USD per person, but great service and very happy to offer my partner a vegetarian option.

    Absolutely fantastic!! The tasting menu was super inventive and every course was so good. We have been to Tintoque multiple times and it's consistently good. Highly recommend.

    Beautiful atmosphere, However, several service. missteps. confirmed a walnut allergy with the hostess as soon as we walked in and the first thing that was given to me, a fruit juice drink, had walnuts in it. Wouldn’t have known it until staff came to our table and asked about the walnut allergy….after I had taken a couple of sips. Overall, service was disjointed and no printed menu for the 9 course tasting menu which was needed as many of the dishes are complex.Food tasted great but I couldn’t tell you exactly what it was.

    Everything about this place is beautiful! The view of the river from the terrace, the food, the drinks, and the service! Definitely recommended

    Really special experience! Wonderful, fun, interesting tasting menu with plenty of local ingredients. Delicious cocktails, excellent service, ambiance was fantastic - what more could you want? We’ll certainly visit again next time we’re in Puerto Vallarta.
