Our award winning single vineyard wines are curated from our 20 year old vineyard. Varietals include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines are grown, made and bottled onsite. Our wines are bold and distinctive. They are gutsy, authentic expressions of their terroir. Tokar Estate wines are well structured but retain the elegance the Yarra Valley is renowned for. They are nurtured from vineyard to bottle by winemaker Martin Siebert and the Tokar family.

The vineyard is hand tendered by our small team using a minimal intervention approach to winemaking. Since 2012 we have reduced cropping levels to ensure exceptional fruit is produced, and we have implemented more sustainable vineyard practices, such as minimising herbicide use in order to encourage soil microfauna and native grasses that harbour beneficial insects.

Stop by for a tasting of our wines and enjoy a glass or two out on our beautiful lawn overlooking the vineyard.

    A perfectly paired chocolate and wine experience Sip on four single vineyard wines from our portfolio, each matched to Master Chocolatier Deniz Karaca's stone-ground chocolates. Cuvée source the worlds best single origin cocoa beans from across the globe that make their small batch handcrafted chocolate tablets. The expertly matched Tokar Estate wines for this experience include our light and bright Rosé, Carafe and Tumbler Pinot Shiraz Blend, reserve Amphora Tempranillo and Coldstream Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. (Each flight is equivalent to 1.5 standard drinks and is a duration of 45 minutes)

    Join us Easter Sunday for a relaxed family friendly celebration. We will have the very talented Jeff Jenkins playing live music from midday, platters available to order and wines on tasting all afternoon. Local pastry chef Kathryn will be baking fresh hot cross buns, with both chocolate and fruit flavours available to pre-order. $25 box of six served with butter, limited serves available on the day, we highly recommend pre-ordering to avoid disappointment.

    Great atmosphere and service. Fantastic drinks. Only improvement may be for for the charcuterie board as you could provide better value for money. Other than that it's a great vineyard with fantastic wines.

    We had an absolutely lovely experience at Tokar Estate. The wine tasting experience with cheese platter was nothing short of sensational and the service from the staff was first rate.

    Upon arrival we were told that we didn’t have a booking when we had booked a week in advance and I had a copy of the booking. The ambience was ok, probably would’ve chosen a different seat to sit in as we were placed close to other people and we were hoping for somewhere a bit more private. It was a nice day and we had asked to be outside but they weren’t offering that service. Food was ok nothing to rave about. Being a winery would’ve expected a bit more high end. We were going to buy some wine from the cellar door but at the ridiculous price of $70 a bottle we felt that was a bit rich for a cellar door! Very disappointed

    Hi Rose, Thanks for taking the time to leave our cellar door a review. From reading your review it seems you may have booked the wrong outlet, and unfortunately that would explain the restaurant confusion and missing booking. I'm pleased our team was able to squeeze you in nonetheless. Fabulous to hear you loved our wines, our premium range is indeed around the $70 mark, however we do have our highly drinkable and well received estate range available at a lower price point of $35 a bottle that you may also enjoy. Please feel free to email or call the team directly and we will ensure a lovely window table is reserved for you on your next visit or out on the deck if the weather permits.

    Arrived to a warm welcome and a busy wine tasting afternoon at the cellar. Place was full but the ladies were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. I felt so comfortable and right at home. We also managed to find a table at the restaurant. I thought I booked a table but I made an error. Despite restaurant being packed and other people waiting, I explained my dilemma to the young lady and she was incredibly helpful and just an absolute delight to deal with. She was so helpful and managed to organise a table for us. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The only negative was people in attendance celebrating a grooms party had very inappropriate things on their table in full view of everyone including children. That’s not the place to be displaying sex toys and that should be private.

    This was my second visit and it was even better than my first (hard to beat aswell!) The wine is gorgeous and so is the cheese! We had an amazing cheese board which paired beautifully with our wines. Would definitely visit again and have recommended to all my friends! Thanks once again!

    Absolutely amazing experience at Tokar Estate. Started with wine tasting at the cellar door- five wines were all lovely. Entertaining & friendly host (forgot her name sorry!). Then we had lunch celebrating my dad's 80th. We were greeted & seated immediately - my mum was sitting underneath the air con & was cold so this was turned off. Menu was explained, wine brought out and then food quickly followed. We had two courses, entree & main, so flavoursome & delicious! My husband brought a cake for us and this was brought out to share. Overall a wonderful and very special experience. Would love to go back :)

    Had a very relaxing wine tasting, with cheese platter, at Tokar. Very helpful staff and very relaxing hour spent. And the wine is great too !
