   店の雰囲気やサービスは非常に良かった。 シェフのお任せ（5品目）を頼みました。それぞれの料理は美味しかったですが、代金に見合っているか。と考えると少しコストパフォーマンスは良くはないかな、と感じました。

   We did the Sushi making masterclass on a Saturday afternoon, which was amazing! Our itamae - Masa was brilliant, very clear and informative. So much fun making sushi and maki rolls. Then delicious eating our creations at the end presented with a glass of sparkling Saki. Highly recommended! Birthday treat for my husband. 5 stars great value for money!

   Service was just plain awful. Waiting time was long. Not offered any drinks we had to ask for a glass of water which wasn’t topped up. We finished our tea, nothing offered after . And it wasn’t like super busy and there was plenty of staff. It’s a shame, it’s a real opportunity for them to upsell and make you want to come back. It’s just a shame we left not wanting to come back. Best member of staff was the guy in charge of reception.

   I rarely write reviews. Authentic Japanese restaurant in a Japanese hotel. Sushi chef very professional and made fantastic nigiri. Otherwise, service is miserable. But I think there’s a lot of that in London.

   Disappointing Service What a let down, we returned to this restaurant as we really enjoyed it two years ago. Sadly it was not at all the experience we had at the first visit. The food arrived as expected for traditional Japanese dining, but we were frustrated by a sushi chef idling while we waited 45 minutes for our last sushi roll. We almost canceled the last roll and left. No staff checked in to see if we needed drinks or wanted to order more. The food was good but not superior, and the long wait while chefs stood watching diners was unacceptable.

   Excellence meal cooked by Jhun, we sat on the stools overlooking him preparing the different meals. Jhun explained each meal to us and about the different courses and was verry friendly and helpful. We had the Omakase experience which was very good value. We visited Japan in October 2024 and this reminded us of the good time we had.

   The omakase experiência was very poor. Nothing special on it, and very little food. It was quite disappointing to be fair… We had one sashimi, 4 neguiris, one little tartar and a little salad, a small portion of beef and a tiny dessert with a drink. The prix for the omakasi was not high but I think rather make a bit more expensive and really offer an omakasi experience, or don’t call it one. The quality of the food is good tho.

   Wasn't sure if was going to do a review as disappointed compared to a previous visit but some aspects had been very good others not so good. Chose here for valentines day because last year everything was faultless and worth every penny but this visit was not as expected. Food was very good as normal even though we didn't get to finish whole set menu due the service becoming pretty much none existent. At first the lady that served us was very good, attentive and informative but that's where it seemed to end. Food seemed to be rushed at first then became very slow. The staff just dumped the food on the table where before the dish was explained, even placed nicely on the table but not now. Tried to ask if we could order more drinks but the waiters acted like they didn't understand then didn't even let the waitress know we wanted to order drinks, getting someone's attention was difficult yet wasn't as busy as the previous visit. When we finally got to the dessert had no cutlery so asked the waiter who was resetting the tables for some but he just stared at me as if he didn't understand then walked off yet he had cutlery with him. Waited a bit longer he still didn't get any cutlery then the waitress finally noticed we didn't have any, but by now we had got fed up with waiting and just asked for the bill explaining we had been trying to order drink etc and just wanted to leave so was too late to now try and serve us. The shame of it is the sub standard staff which you didn't expect in a restaurant with this such a high standard, the effort by the Chefs and some staff was totally let down by the rest of them. A big shoot out to the staff in the bar as they were very good as always and did pass on our displeasure on the evening to the manager of the restaurant, the bar manager was very apologetic for them which he shouldn't have had to do but a big thank you to him

   We did the sushi masterclass with Kazuyo, it was amazing! The quality of the ingredients provided was like nothing I’ve ever had before (having had a lot of sushi), the instructions were clear and Kazuyo took the time to ensure we had done it right. You also get a lovely drink and miso soup which was such a plus. We would highly recommend for couples!

    Amazingly delicious & fresh food, even though the portions were on the extremely small side, considering the price was so high. The Black Cod was literally 3 bites worth!! But the yellowtail carpaccio & salmon tartar were one of the freshest & tastiest I’ve ever eaten. I think being part of the hotel is why prices are steep. Service was very attentive but we were the only 2 in the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon, no ambience at all, but decor & cleanliness of restaurant was very good. £65 per head, drinking only tap water and sharing 1 main course is very pricey though, even in these high food priced times, so unfortunately will not be visiting again.
