Rivers needs to do better with their Top Golf reservations. I made a reservation a week ago on OpenTable and received a confirmation for a party of 6 for a birthday celebration. My guest and I show up Friday 9/29, after waiting around for two hours in the casino for them to tell us Top Golf is closed for the night. No phone calls, no text, no email before. All we got was an excuse that the general manager closed all the suites because none of the suites were paid for and they didn’t have any extra waitresses to cover the area. This is totally unacceptable and ridiculous. I don’t know where the disconnection is with Open Table and the Casino but online doesn’t ask you to pay to reserve a suite. Furthermore as a manager how do you not check online reservations before shutting down the whole area? I had ppl who showed up at 11pm just to play Top Golf, this was a complete waste of people’s time. And a round of drinks the supervisor gave doesn’t make up for ruining a planned birthday celebration. I could have just went to Virginia Beach. Also the MAJOR issue with this location, NO ONE answers the phone ever! I tried calling after getting my confirmation email to ask a question, got no response. Even calling the main casino phone no one answers, you get put on hold forever and then transferred to a voicemail. I know this casino just opened but to have no type of customer service available to answer calls makes no sense. Thanks to the waitress at the betrivers bar that was understanding and had great energy. Other than that if you want the Top Golf experience go to the full location, you can’t depend on when they going to choose to have the area open. I don’t even know why it’s there, it a waste of space.
