   La comida estaba muy rica. El servicio fue muy lento y olvidaron traernos un platillo. El principal problema fue que nosotros habíamos revisado el menú que tienen publicado aquí, y al llegar allá los precios de los platillos eran el doble o más, lo que nos hizo pasar un momento incómodo. Para el precio que pagamos hubiéramos preferido ir a otro lugar con mejores vistas y servicio

   We had my 60th birthday dinner at Toro. Unfortunately I would say it’s not worth going here, there are many better places in Cabo. For sure the space if very beautiful. The staff is extremely well trained & attentive. Thomas our waiter told us the owner has 150 restaurants world wide. You’d think that would make for a great meal… We had 3 appetizers. The beet salad was decent, the spicy tuna was excellent & the grilled avocado was basically a peeled avocado for $40. The breads & spread were quite good. My girlfriend had the chicken which was burned, my father had the crab/ shrimp enchiladas which had very little of anything except filler & some crab shells. My mom had empenadas which she didn’t really care for. I had a NY strip steak which was the saltiest piece of meat I’ve ever had. It must have been soaked in brine or something. I had to send it back, it was inedible. Everyone had finished their meals by the time my unsalted steak came. It was still salty but not as bad as the first. Kind of a drag to be the only one eating on my birthday as everyone had already finished by the time my dinner arrived. Then for dessert we ordered the la bomba. It’s ice cream, brownies & fruit. Thomas put paper down on the table & then brought the dessert which is encased in chocolate shell to the table where he threw it down so that it breaks up into pieces. I was wearing a new $400 linen shirt I had just got. The strawberries went flying everywhere. On my lap & two hit my shirt. I pointed the mess out to Thomas but got no response. The dessert was really good, but seriously, why not ask the guests to move back or give them larger napkins. after you soil someone’s shirt & pants, at least offer to pay for the dry cleaning. I called them the following day in an effort to discuss this 7 different times but no one ever answered. The next day I called and was told a manager would call me back, which still hasn’t happened. So I’m posting an unflattering review. C- experience

   Good food in beautiful setting. Service good but a bit slow. Europop music blaring at end. If I wanted to eat in a nightclub I would have gone downtown.

   Delicious food from around Latin America. We loved the teraditos (Peruvian sushi), jumbo shrimp and catch of the day. For some reason, the indoor dining was closed again, but this time the weather was pleasantly comfortable.

   Toro is one of our favorites in the Cabo area. The Tuna Tartar special is great, beat salad also. Catch of the Day and seafood enchiladas are amazing. Great service. Highly recommend Toro!

    From our initial entry to our final exit Toro was an amazing experience!! We were warmly greeted and showed to or table. Our server, Thomas and his assistant Adrian, were knowledgeable, courteous, warm and so attentive, knowing exactly when to approach us, when to take our orders and clear the table. It was a well orchestrated dance that was utterly brilliant and thoroughly professional!! The food then took center stage. We each had a different style of margarita. I had the Frida (a margarita served in a glass lantern box filled with mesquite smoke😊). Wow! My wife had the standard margarita and our friend had a jalapeño infused margarita. Our starters were sushi and tuna tartar - delicious, delicious, delicious!! Our mains were the rib eye and New York steaks as well as the pork belly with scallops! All melt in your mouth, superior flavored and cooked to perfection!! Micheline Star food and service!! I highly recommended Torote to everyone!! We will return to enjoy the food and service at Toro again and again - we absolutely love it!!
