We are a bit older. They seated us outside where the DJ is playing electronic music. The noise wasn’t stifling but a bit excessive. There were plenty of seats inside and around the side. Service was lacking - slow and disorganized; seemed like our waiter was new. Food was very good. A very cool place - should have eaten at the amazing bar. Pretty amazing place but they could be more attentive and aware.

Had to pay by using PIN number, not a problem. Had to go to tge front desk to pay Was totally ignored by manager. After 5 minutes of watching the manager texting and talking in the phone I then told him he could come find me at my table to pay when he was free. At that he then got off his phone and intercepted me and was rude. Told me he was accepting reservations which was more important to him. I replied that perhaps he should have more time for guests already in his restaurant. He was very rude. Server was great, other staff great, food great. Management unacceptably rude for such a great restaurant

We arrive at 7pm and got out 10:40pm Meals were served after 9pm a ver bad experience, drinks were served 40 min after they took our drink order. Usually we get good service every time im very surprised and not happy with the experience

We really wanted to rekindle our past relationship with Toro but alas no. It is a resort restaurant without the resort. High prices and mediocre food. Staff trying to work but were hurried and spotty on contact. Made a reservation and showed up and they could not locate it until after we had to ask for a table and seated which is always a little off putting. Someone was at the front (manager?) more concerned with another person’s future meal so the hostess was being split up in her attention. Staff were hustling so the issue has to be training or management in my view. Same issue last time we visited. Once seated, which was a nice table, we did not get even water or a menu until 10 minutes later. At 20 minutes we just had ordered drinks. We were listening to a neighboring table gripe that it turned out their drinks were the appetizer due to long delay on food. Some of their cocktails are bizarre- rum old fashioned was nearly undrinkable and for resort prices. Food was meh and seemed to be weaker than past when it came. Very small or overly simple portions - my wife was pretty alarmed at her shrimp order - 5 grilled shrimp and very salty potatoes. Needs a refresh. Many better options at this price point - Casa Martin, Da Pietro, Four seasons, Arbol, Salvatores, etc.

Excelente atención desde el primer momento que se llega al lugar, los alimentos que elegimos estaban muy deliciosos y llegaban muy rápido, hasta repetimos uno de esos platillos (sushi) de lo delicioso que estaba, la atención de parte de los meseros muy profesional y atentos, resuelven cualquier duda, sin duda volveremos

What a beautiful setting sitting outside dining alfresco on New Year's eve. Service was amazing, the food was spot on and the DJ was playing a mix of great jams. Overall a perfect evening !!! Great job Toro !!!
