   We had a great time at Toscana in Mahogany. First noticed that tables weren’t crowded together so a little privacy for each group. Service was quick, friendly and professional. Our server, Miranda, was never too far but never on top of us…just 5he way it should be. We had a few questions and Miranda had all the answers. We started by sharing an appetizer of calamari which was beautifully crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion was very generous. Next came spaghetti alla pescatore for my guest which was also a very generous portion with lots of shrimp, salmon, mussels and clams. The verdict….. absolutely delicious ! For myself I ordered a margherita pizza with pepperoni. It was great - a thin crust with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, pepperoni and fresh basil. It was bigger than I thought so I took half of it home. For dessert we shared a crème brûlée which was definitely large enough for two, and very, very tasty. During the meal we shared a bottle of Soave Classico. It was not too dry, very refreshing and reasonably priced. This was not our first time at Toscana in Mahogany and certainly won’t be our last. Bravo !

   Never disappoints. Food and service are always good - we are a group of four who come once every month or so and we order a bunch of dishes for the table to share. We come back again and again because the food and service are great and we can just enjoy our evening and conversation with no worries about our meal!

   I was raised in a city that had a very large Italian community so I’m familiar with real Italian food, this was not Italian food!

   The Ravioli con Aragosta was excellent and the only negative was the small portion. The spaghetti Alla Pescatore was more plentiful so it was shared with the still hungry consumer of the Ravioli con Aragosta. Third person in our party ordered the daily special of a Prime Rib Burger with Caesar salad. It was just okay. Would have been great to have a bowl of bread to start. We would visit again.
