True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you. Our menu features food and drinks crafted with nutrient-dense ingredients and carefully sourced proteins from the world’s most responsible and sustainable growers, farmers and producers. True Food has dumbed down their menu. Rather than offering the unique dishes they used to offer using fresh ingredients, they have gone the way of chains and offering chicken sandwiches, overpriced burgers, and a few other handheld options. We opted for a couple of the bowls and they were bland. Not going back unless True Food brings back their uniqueness and stop trying to be another sandwich chain.

The food at this restaurant is very good. But the value is not. This restaurant is WAY too expensive. Paying close to $20 for a grain bowl, and then being given an option for $6 chicken is absurd. (Plus, $6 iced tea to wash it down?). This is the exact thing people are rebelling against right now. Inflation went up, prices went up, then inflation went down, but prices stayed the same. We won't go back here just because it is too expensive.
