Fantastic manager Shawn, and the best waiter ever Jimmy! Food was tremendous! If you want a 5 star dining experience full of amazing food, ambience, and a totally pleasing setting run as fast as you can to this dining dynasty!

Exceptional service and food. Trevor was our server and had lots of great info. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. They made it extra special by giving my wife a birthday card and their birthday dessert was amazing

Truluck’s never disappoints. Wait staff overcame a small snafu with one dish and comped desserts. Great venue for celebrating special occasions albeit a bit pricey. Presentation of food dishes was outstanding.

Our server was knowledgeable and had the perfect situational awareness. Wife’s birthday and it was special. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing. 10/10 would recommend for a special occasion!

My friend and I really looked forward to a special night out and special food. The food was largely disappointing. The shrimp was overcooked and the scallops were tasteless. Disappointed. The scallops and shrimps were overcooked and tough. I had a piece of the octopus that was like rubber. I should have spit it out but I think that would be in appropriate. I think that would have been quite obvious prior to frying them. The rest of the octopus was good. The stone crab was excellent. The service was excellent. Spending almost $400 my expectations are not unreasonable to have an excellent meal.

Truluck's is our go-to for special occasions. We decided to try out the Downtown Truluck's for New Years Eve, and it was honestly a little off compared to our usual experience -- most likely due to the holiday. Our food was fantastic and the drinks were quite good, but it felt like we were waiting for quite some time to be attended to after being sat. Recognizing that it was a holiday, we wanted to be considerate of the waitstaff & kitchen who probably wanted to be out of there as soon as possible after closing. However, it took at least 10 minutes to see our waiter after seating, and the rest of the night, we were unable to order our next course or additional drinks promptly --- so much so, at the end of our meal, we were trying to order one last drink to close out and were informed that the bar had already closed for the evening (despite not being informed that it was last call). Truluck's is usually a never-miss, but this night was the first time we've had a bad experience. We're chalking it up to the holiday, and will definitely give Truluck's another chance.
