My husband and I made our first trip to Seattle to visit our grandson in the Navy, and this was the first restaurant we ate at. It was fantastic. It was Valentines Day and they easily moved our reservation after our flight was 1 hour delayed. Our server Joseph is the best and became a family friend guiding us through the menu. The chicken, spaghetti and meatballs (order non spicy), bruschetta, arraniatta, gnocchi with mushrooms and Cesar salad are amazing. Don’t forget dessert and the caramel cake with gelato. Five Stars and a must do for downtown!

It was good, but not great. I’m not sure I would return anytime soon as I think the food and atmosphere are better at other Italian places in Seattle. They really need to work on their customer service skills, starting when a customer walks through the door. It was an unwelcoming experience coming into the restaurant, with bad (or no) communication amongst staff, which was awkward. It wasn’t that busy, either. My impression was the restaurant seemed to not care if I was there or not, and there are lots of other choices.

They will hustle you with their menu prices. They didn’t update any of their menus with current pricing and you’ll be paying more than what you bargain for.

The checkin process was horrific. We were placed at a table and then ignored for 20 minutes. Once we got up and had to physically tap a server on the shoulder to get some assistance, we were happy with the food, but they need to work out their kinks.

The new location is much bigger and more upscale than when the restaurant was above the Whole Foods on Westlake. Service was a bit slow to arrive, but friendly and professional when we connected with the server. Calamari was perfect -- highly recommended, as was the Sangiovese. I ordered a substitution of prosciutto for the nduja on the Tropea pizza. Kitchen missed this, but server brought out a side dish of prosciutto to complete the order.

It was a convienent walk from the Paramount theatre after the show. Service was good, food was good. Especially loved the Carmel Cake for dessert. Place was family friendly as we saw two different families with small children eating there. Staff was accommodating.

I had made a reservation for four and called an hour ahead to confirm. Upon on time arrival I was told they had overbooked and it would take at least 30 minutes to seat us. Since one of us had limited time we ended up getting a table for 2 where they were able to seat 3 people. I myself offered to skip the dinner and find some food elsewhere.
