A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines.

Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £20, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday.

Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are currently unable to accept cash at our new premises and are card-only.

    The tapas style plates were a good size and the unusual take on many of them was really interesting for foodies like us. We were really lucky to have a special February promotional rate for our meal, but would he been delighted to full amount. Excellent food served in nice surroundings. Very good wines by the glass

    Food was absolutely perfect!! Real thought has gone into each dish on the menu.. The deep fried artichokes and the hispi cabbage were out of this world! Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the dishes!!! The servers were really great,helped us with any questions about the menu, gave us some great recommendations to! The definition of service with a smile! All in all a 10/10 dining experience! 10/10

    Nice, compact space. Inventive menu. Lovely connection to their own farm, meaning lots of dishes featured farm-produced veg - though they were often a little ‘buried’ in the dishes, one among many ingredients. It would have been nice to allow them to take centre stage, to fully appreciate. Very nice food, generally. Somewhat small, slightly ungenerous-seeming portion sizes - especially the octopus. Never had a smaller piece of tentacle, and for £18! Lovely pumpkin dessert. Great selection of dessert wines and reasonably priced wine generally. The room was a little bit characterless - a bit clinical, nothing much of note. Would benefit from a bit more personality or else it doesn’t contribute to the evening. A good place that will hopefully continue to evolve.

    We thought we were booked for the Valentines set menu which was posted on the restaurants web page to be told we were not when we arrived This was extremely annoying. However we chose dishes from the main menu and it were excellent so this went some way to make up for our disappointment. Would definitely eat there again as the food was very good.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The dishes, small plates akin to tapas, were delicious and inventive. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ Octopus and fresh Anchovies. It was an informal and relaxed dining experience that we will certainly repeat in the future.

    The food was nice but the service was terrible. Kept waiting in the joint ‘28 & chefs table’ reception area for 5 minutes before we realised it wasn’t staffed when it was meant to be. We were the greeted by staff that were obviously over-run and didn’t seem to want to be there. The portions were tiny even for tapas style. The croquettes were barely edible as they were so salty. A poor experience which won’t be repeated
