The award-winning Uchi, which translated from Japanese means “home,” was first opened in Austin, Texas by James Beard Award winner Chef Tyson Cole. Since then, Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese cuisine has been warmly received by visitors from across the country and around the globe. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    I have now eaten here 3 times and my experience has been similar each time. The descriptions are exciting but the taste is only fair. The portions are small and it is quite expensive. There are many better Japanese options in the Denver area.

    Uchi became probably my favorite restaurant in Denver! Fresh seafood!! Absolutely everything that came out of that kitchen was perfection.! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

    Everything was wonderful about the dinner except it was quite loud after our 615 reservation. It was difficult to hear my friend sitting next to me.

    The menu can be a bit intimidating as a first-time diner, but the wait staff is amazing at explaining flavor profiles and recommending dishes that will blow your mind! I did not have a single bad bite here. I can genuinely say this is genuinely the best sushi experience I’ve personally had. Super fresh, well seasoned, all while still letting the natural flavor of the fish shine! Will definitely be back to Uchi.

    Wow...hands down, the best sushi I've had in the Denver metroplex...perhaps even ever! We had the 8-course Omakase tasting menu - the best way to experience a cross-section of their dishes. Total flavor explosion and yet simple and not overdone. They source some of their fresh ingredients from the greenhouse above the restaurant - amazing. We will definitely go back.

    The chef tasting menu was incredible. Zack is very talented and it was a magical meal after a long day. We have found a new Sushi spot and the fish was very fresh and incredible!

    Uchi has a 2 hour table limit for parties of 4 or less. Reservations were for 8pm. We didn’t get seated until 8:40. Either the reservation system doesn’t work correctly or the limit wasn’t enforced for our particular table. Not even an apology. Not impressed enough to go back given the wait and the price for a chain restaurant.
