   We were celebrating my mom’s 85th birthday. Kenneth did an outstanding job of overseeing our RSVPs and table arrangements and making sure we were comfortable. He was very kind, considerate, professional. A joy to be around! Heather did an excellent job overseeing our orders and making superb tapas recommendations. Kennth and Heather made our celebration a wonderful and memorable experience. They provided exemplary customer service and care. They represent your brand and organization quite well.    Happy Hour at VASO Rooftop Lounge is something everyone can and should enjoy. Between the incredible food, gracious and helpful wait staff, and elegant ambience, you are sure to have a special night out. Sharing with a few friends over happy hour also won't break your bank!

   I have been to VASO many times, and this was THE WORST experience I have ever had. It was my husband's first experience, which made it even more disappointing. The first issue was the strange aroma permeating the restaurant. It was sickly, sweet, and almost fishy, and it got stronger as the night went on. It was not very appetizing. The menu had changed, and there were fewer options, and the drinks were not as fun or creative as in past times. I don't know if it was because of Valentine's Day, but it was not what I am accustomed to at VASO. The food was delicious, but there were definitely more small plates. When your filet mignon is five slices of steak with mashed sweet potatoes smeared artistically on the plate for $24, you will go hungry. Our server was terrible. Although he was friendly, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, and our drinks went empty most of the night. He caught my husband on the way to the restroom and grabbed his drink order but did not come to the table. While I was away from the table, my husband asked for a dessert menu. We waited 20 minutes, and none appeared. When the server finally came, he asked if we needed another drink, and at that point, between the weird smell, the inattentive service, and how incredibly loud it was in there, we decided to call it a night. Again, I have been to VASO on six separate occasions, once by myself and other times meeting up with friends, so I was so excited to share this with my husband. Other than the view (we were not window side), there was nothing but disappointment, and I am sad to see this downturn in quality and service.

    Great service. I’m a big eater, so probs tapas wasn’t the right choice. Food was tasty. Pricey.
