Last night we had the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairings. All the dishes were prepared with great thought and care resulting in beautiful presentations and wonderful flavors. The wine pairings were carefully chosen to enhance the food. When we arrived the floor was packed with diners, but the service was excellent and the kitchen kept each course coming at a pace that allowed for a proper amount of time between courses.

Fantastic meal as a celebration for 2 birthdays .... we opted to "share" - perfectly seasoned beef tartre, beets,creamy red beet ravioli, onion quiche (perfect buttery and flakey crust), ragu (pasta perfectly al dente), liver and onions, and the Tomahawk. The steak was rare, tender, and savory. Our meals was accompanied by wonderful wines chosen with help from the sommelier - Bastianich Plus friulano 2106 and the 2018 Podere Le Ripi Cielo d'Ulisse Brunello di Montalcino. We ended the evening sharing the Tiramisu - fantastico!

The food is fantastic and truly authentic Italian! My wife and I moved to SLC from Florence, Italy. This is the only restaurant that takes us back home. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors simple (like the best of Italian cuisine) yet perfect together. Complimenti! È tutto fatto con tanto amore!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Veneto and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was perfect. The menu offered a wonderful selection of authentic Italian dishes, each bursting with flavor. I started with the hand cut beef tartare, which was fresh and delicious. The wine menu is out of this world and second to none! Overall, Veneto exceeded all my expectations. The combination of excellent food, outstanding service, and a cozy ambiance made for a truly memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to return!

This restaurant is outstanding!!! The true and best Italian cuisine in the country. Only in Italy you can find such a superb food prepared with very top quality ingredients, in the finest restaurants. I wish we could have this type of restaurant in Houston.

Fabulous gem of a restaurant. Competes with best anywhere. Each course was exceptional, service good from young staff, wine list deep. Amazing addition with 3 top restaurants within 100 meters. A taste of Italian haute cuisine in SLC.

Great food, but missing that special touch. My husband and I are foodies who love a good dining experience, often spending $200-400 each visit. We enjoy spending time together and look for restaurants that appreciate customers like us. The food here deserves 5 stars for its quality, taste, and presentation. Everything we tried was delicious and top-notch. We opted to sit outside, which was nice, but not particularly romantic. Watching people walk by added a bit of fun, though. Our server was excellent, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations. We would have gladly tipped him if it weren’t a tip-less restaurant. However, we were put off by the $12 cover charge and the $75 corkage fee. I could understand if we were in Chicago, LA, or New York. It seemed absurdly high because most high-end places in Utah don't charge more than $25 for corkage, and many don’t charge us at all. We had a couple of overpriced glasses of wine from the menu. We would have preferred our own bottle but not with that fee. We ended up going elsewhere for drinks after dinner. The second course options were good if you like beef and are okay with the portions and costs. There aren’t many lighter options if you fill up from the first course, other than Branzino. I was surprised there wasn’t an option for chicken or another type of fish on the menu. Knowing it was our first time there, it would have been nice if the chef, owner, or manager had stopped by our table to greet us, making us feel more welcome. Instead, the experience felt like a business transaction. While the food was outstanding, there are many fantastic restaurants in Utah, and other than the food, nothing else stood out enough to make us want to return.

You say, "high-end places don't charge >$25 or fee at all", they also don't have largest IT list in UT or seen by Wine Spectator as one of world's best. We proudly offer different wine service & yes, corkage reflects that •"would have been nice if chef, owner, mgr stopped by">>Mgr served you & chef made 5-star food all Sat. night

The most beautiful restaurant, A place you can go, enjoy the ambiance, great wine list and perfectly al Dente pasta!! This place is decorated so tastefully, service top tier .. it really feels like you are in New York or Italy.
