   We loved our experience having Easter Brunch here today! Our server (Haley) was amazing, and the food was perfection!! We tried so many things!! Avocado toast, oysters, biscuits and gravy, deviled eggs, and the tomato and confit peach salad for starters! Then crawfish bisque, steak & eggs, a simple breakfast plate, and shrimp & grits as our entrees! There wasn’t a single bad bite of food!! Well done, Vestal! You never disappoint!!!

   Wonderful experience. All recommendations were great. Seating is a bit crowded, but understandable for the space. Very impressed with the waitstaff--always attentive but not over-present. Will be back.

   Had an incredible meal last night. Tried so many appetizers. Kale salad and crab spaghetti were next level. Maybe the best espresso martini I’ve ever had. Our server was friendly and everything arrived timely. It’s not a cheap restaurant but you absolutely get your money’s worth.

   Dieses Lokal hat gutes Essen ( vorallem aus dem Meer), jedoch ist es so laut, dass man nicht länger sitzen bleiben kann. Service bemüht , jedoch ohne Fachwissen betreffend Weine und Essen.

   Great place for a special occasion. You don’t feel like you are in Lafayette, but transported somewhere else. Great chill vibes, nice subdued lighting, and great interior design.

   Every time we dine at Vestal, it’s always so satisfying! The service, food and atmosphere always reach our expectations. Vestal is a top restaurant for us and will continue to be.

   Our dining experience was thoroughly enjoyable, thanks in large part to the impeccable service. Our waiter, whose name I believe was David or Daniel, struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion. He provided thoughtful recommendations, engaged in pleasant conversation, and ensured a seamless flow to our meal without ever feeling intrusive. The wine selection impressed, particularly the robust Cabernet. We sampled the ribeye, half chicken, and duck-fat fingerling potatoes. The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection, yielding incredibly moist meat. Its accompanying potatoes were a revelation, a symphony of flavors that defied easy description. However, while the chicken's texture was flawless, I found it slightly under-seasoned, resulting in a somewhat muted flavor profile. The ribeye, ordered medium-rare, was another testament to the kitchen's technical skill. The sear was beautifully executed, and the interior was cooked precisely as requested. Unfortunately, like the chicken, it could have benefited from more robust seasoning. The accompanying duck-fat fingerling potatoes, which we also ordered as a side, were again exceptional – a burst of rich, savory flavors. These potatoes alone were a highlight of the meal. In summary, the restaurant excelled in service and the technical execution of its dishes. With a touch more emphasis on seasoning, the food would have been truly exceptional.

    The appetizers and sides were great. We had the broccolini and Mac and cheese. Both fantastic. The steaks weren’t the best though. The meat was very high quality and seasoned fairly well but not cooked the best. Half of the steak was cooked to the correct medium rare, but then progressed to medium well the second half of the steak. The oven did not cook them evenly at all. We will be back to try some of their other entrees but will pass on the steaks.
