We’ve tried Afternoon Tea before in our hometown and this being our second afternoon tea experience was incredible! before even going into the Victoria Cafe, the hotel staff, were incredibly kind and helpful! Even though I was not staying the night I had a luggage which i was hoping to put away before my reservation and i was able to leave it with the concierge for no extra fees! as well, since I was quite a bit early, I was able grab a glass of water and stay in the lobby while waiting for the rest of my party. Now on to the experience! The hostess was extremely kind, and our server too! Even when we had to add another member to out party last minute, they were able to accommodate without making us feel awkward (mind you, we were also very apologetic and let them know it’s understandable if it wasn’t possible). the food was delicious! and they were also accommodating to dietary meals, having a vegetarian option as well as the option to substitute specific savouries if needed! The amouse-bouche was very delicious and the teas were very fragrant! the variety of savouries and desserts were perfect and just as delicious if not more than everything else! We were a bit worries after finishing our clotted cream, but our wonderful server was able to get us some more as well as restock our sugar, milk, and hot water in our tea-pots. 10/10 recommended!!
