Vinarius is an Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar in Little Italy San Diego. We offer an extensive wine list with wines coming from different regions of the world; the best meat and cheese board with Italian cured meats and different cheeses to pair with our wines. Our chef Alex makes homemade pasta enriched with our homemade sauces, entrees, pizza, different appetizers to choose from, and desserts that pair well with our port wines and after-dinner drinks. You definitely have to try our daily specials!
Our cozy full bar is also the perfect place to enjoy your drink and food while watching some sports!

    We enjoyed our dinner, although I did have to send my dish back as pasta not cooked completely. The portions are very large. Prices are great. Location was great. The main problem is the noise level. Can not visit at all. Service was excellent! Would probably not go back because of noise level.

    Paula was exceptional, and helped make it extraordinary from cocktail, to appie, wine pairing for our main. The food was authentic Italian, perfectly paired with the service

    We’ve been back twice now and we have another reservation coming up. The food is excellent. And the service is even more divine. The owner Giuseppe is so pleasant and caring as is his staff. The artichoke appetizer is to die for. Highly recommend this hidden culinary gym

    We celebrated my birthday on the lovely and safe outside patio so we could enjoy having our puppy with us. The owner was delightful as were all the service staff. The caesar salad was bountiful and satisfyingly delicious- very cheesy and enjoyable. The pasta was super fresh and perfectly al dente. The sauce was mild and just right. Wonderful experience. We’ll be back!

    Food is always wonderful, the service and friendliness of the team is even better. Because it’s on the edge of Little Italy you will find more locals here than tourists. It’s our little secret. We have our favorite dishes, I adore the eggplant parm, my husband the seafood pasta special or the vongole. And our new crave is the artichoke appetizer - just delicious! Tell Giuseppe we sent you.

    Well, here I go again, bragging about this restaurant! If you are visiting San Diego and come to the Little Italy area, make sure you dine here! You will not be disappointed because everything about it pretty perfect: The service, the food and the cozy atmosphere will delight the senses!! Leave room for us, though.......... :)

    This was our second time - and we brought a party of 5 this time. Absolutely outstanding welcoming service that made us feel like family. Tremendous food and wine made for an unforgettable evening and a wonderful experience for our visiting professional guests. We are excited to visit again soon.

    This was the most amazing Italian dinner that we have experienced. The ambiance is warm and inviting. It felt more like we were dining in Guiseppe’s home. The service team made us feel special. We will be back!
