Volta is a neighbourhood restaurant and bar located at the heart of Burton Road in West Didsbury. We serve a menu of small plates inspired by international travels. You can eat & drink on our cosy terrace to the front or enjoy the chic decor and vintage bistro style ambience inside.

Please note, on Sundays we serve our Sunday roast menu.

Our outside covered terrace offers heaters and a covered canopy, hosting the full range of drinks and food.

    For some months I have been looking for the perfect roast pork Sunday roast. I found it on Sunday 15 December 2024 at Volta in Didsbury. Will be back soon.

    Great venue, lovely staff, good quality food for reasonable price. Only small recommendation is that the dips should come with flat bread without having to pay extra.

    Volta is a great restaurant. Good staff, great ambience and fantastic food. Lots of brilliant vegetarian choices too. Highly recommended

    So glad the roasts are back in Volta. Always one my favourite places to eat but the roasts are the best around!

    Great food and service as always, we had the Sunday roast and couldn’t fault it. It’s still up there as one of the best Sunday roasts in Manchester for me.

    Food is always excellent at Volta!! This eve the place was busy with pre-Xmas parties which made for a good buzz. Service is good. Choice of small plates for veggies is good. We perceive that prices have risen recently but I guess that’s just what’s happening…. Thanks for a good evening

    First time as new to the area. Food was excellent, very tasty. Small plates but packed with lots of flavour. There were 6 of us for lunch, we went for a mix between the daytime offer and from the main menu. Value for money was spot on. I have been to lots of Tapas places but I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely visit again at some point!
