Located on High St in the heart of historic Old Worthington, Worthington Tavern is a vibrant, locally owned restaurant, bar, and covered patio. Our timeless space inspires a joyful atmosphere and honors Worthington's history.

Our menu features made-from-scratch familiar favorites- all from the finest ingredients. Our bar enlivens your experience with a robust selection of original cocktails, great spirits, craft beer, and enticing wines. Whether it's brunch with old friends, dinner with family, or a night out celebrating, we look forward creating memorable experiences together.

Groups of 8+ guests be rung on a single check and will be subject to an automatic 20% gratuity

Our kitchen is closed from 3pm-4p Saturdays & Sundays.

                                                                      Our experience at Worthington Tavern was a bit of a mixed bag. Service was lacking—we had to track down a server just to place our order. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it didn’t quite deliver on flavor. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the live music was truly outstanding. I’d return for the atmosphere and a great glass of wine, but not much else.

                                                                      We went for dinner the day before Valentine’s Day. It was sort of busy, but several tables available. We had a reservation and were offered a booth or a high top. We chose the booth, but it ended up being this odd two person booth (booth on just one side of the table so you sit side by side). Plus, it was in the very back corner of the “heated” covered patio so it was chilly. Not ideal, but manageable. Our server, was ok. Not overly friendly, but she did her job as expected. The food was good, especially the wedge salad and the Piccante Pasta (we added grilled shrimp). The strip steak was cooked as ordered, but had very little flavor and a lot of fat. We had to add salt and pepper (which took a very long time to get when we asked for it) to add more flavor. We paid a $3 up charge to change out the frites for the brussel sprouts with the steak and they were well worth it! Overall, the food (minus the steak) was very good. Service ok and the atmosphere was poor.

                                                                      We had a nice meal before a show we were attending. Both entrees were very good. Service was also quite good. This place rarely disappoints.

                                                                      Great spot! I love the vibe and location. My mocktail was so sweet I couldn’t drink it. The Stromboli was gross, way too much cheese. The wings were weird. They very Smokey. Not a great flavor with buffalo. Just not great food. Which was sad.

                                                                      It was another great meal at The Worthington Tavern. I had the Bang Bang Salmon and my friend had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. The meals were delicious. Our server, Bethany, was great. Wonderful experience.

                                                                      As amazing as ever. Super cozy. Felt chic and although we didn't order from the restaurant week menu, everything we ordered felt special. Cocktails, mocktails, apps and entrees - delish! We love this place and always ask ourselves why we aren't there more!
