YaYa’sについて YaYa’sには洗練された部分と風変わりな部分の両方があります。洗練された雰囲気のある店内はモザイクタイルフロアで、石の柱、布張りの壁パネル、梁出し天井、手吹きシャンデリア、曲がった錬鉄製の手すりが備わっています。洗練された折衷メニューは、アメリカ料理、フランス料理、イタリア料理、ギリシャ料理の組み合わせから発想を得ています。地中海風のヨーロッパの料理には、オーク材を燃やしてレンガのオーブンで焼いたビザ、コクのある創作パスタ、新鮮なシーフード料理、革新的な肉のメインディッシュを用意しています。 風変わりな部分とは、名前自体とそれが呼び起こすものでしょう。Yia Yiaとは祖母を意味します。レストランは、大使の妻としてヨーロッパ各国を旅行し集めたアイデアを特別なレシピとしてきた、共同設立者Paul Khouryの祖母にちなんで名付けられています。

                                                                                              Had an early lunch with 3 friends; excellent service; I had the lasagna, which was warm and wonderful. 2 others had great meals. 1 decided too much spice on her mussels, but this was quickly replaced by mussels cooked in wine. So ALL were happy with the meal, restaurant and the service. We will continue to be regular customers.

                                                                                              We have enjoyed both lunch and dinner at YaYa's frequently, and we have generally received excellent service. Our service last night, however, was not up to the standard. The young lady was engaging to the point of not having time to actually manage our order or requests due to her conversations with various other tables. We appreciate engaging service, certainly, however, not at the expense of time and quality of food. My wife's dinner was warm, not hot, and the timing was just off for both drinks and food. In some ways, the experience may have been a result of the crowd as the restaurant was full when we arrived for our 6:00 p.m. reservation and nearly full when we left after 7:30. We had a 15 minute wait after arriving on time for our reservation. Aside from this evening's experience, I continue to recommend the restaurant as a wonderful place to dine for lunch or dinner.

                                                                                              In December, we were seated by a door to an outdoor podded patio, which was opened constantly by staff — we were FREEZING! Not one employee tried to minimize the time the door was open or inquire about our comfort. We felt like we were on a loading dock. Our server rushed to clear the plates while one of our party was not nearly finished, including taking bread and appetizers she was eating.

                                                                                              YaYa’s is one of my favorites but my husband is not a big fan. That changed tonight. Everything was truly exceptional. The food was perfect and our server, Molly, was attentive but stayed back and didn’t push us to get a move on. Truly a wonderful evening.
