The food was outstanding and reflected a desire to serve food plated elegantly and appropriate to the style of cuisine. I can definitely recommend the restaurant based on the dinner we enjoyed. However . . . There are two other elements at Yoko that were lacking in comparison to the high quality of the food served. Servers evidently need to be trained better about how to accurately take an order on their handheld device. Our server can back to our table to confirm items we ordered TWICE. The other issue that needs to be corrected is that my entree was served to me at least 5 minutes prior to those ordered by the other 3 people at our table. Any party of two or more should receive their meals at the same time. I've got to believe that these service issues can be corrected with better planning and proper training. They should not negatively impact your decision to try Yoko. The food was excellent and with improved service, it is a place to return to.

First time dining in Yoko and was a great experience.. the cocktails.. the food and the service was amazing. I need to go back to try more items from the menu.

Dinner was so yum! It was definitely difficult to find something because I have a lot of food allergies and they said there are literally only like three things that are gluten free, but I worked it out. My husband had the wagyu on the stone and I had edamame. We also got the bone marrow but I got it with no bread and instead of their chili aioli and bread crumbs, they topped it with garlic confit. For the main dish I had the lettuce wrap burger with only grilled onions and it was perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper. I didn't even miss all of the other condiments it would have come with. My husband got the pad Thai with chicken and thought it was great. He ate my side dish of battered green beans and said it probably would have been better if they were steamed or sauteed. For dessert, we shared this fudge souffle thing that I swear I should have started with that because I wanted more but I was too full. We decided that we were going to try the mocktails and stay away from the alcohol tonight. Both of what we had was so good we ordered multiple drinks. Honestly I thought it was going to be a terrible experience because we had a reservation and then they told us we still had to wait almost a half hour and the guy at the door wasn't very warm or welcoming. But the one who made it all better was the server. He was so patient and kind and joked around with us and really turned it around. We will return.
