   Had been excited to return to this place since a friend celebrate their birthday at their restaurant last year. So quickly booked when I heard about the residency at the white hart. The White Hart is a lovely place, really well decorated and great seating. The service and the wait times for food let our evening down. I was treating my mum and step dad for a meal. We were sat for around 20 minutes with menus before anyone came to offer drinks. The lady that came to take our drinks order couldn’t take our food order, fair enough as there were two businesses operating. I found the Zekki staff walked with their heads down and therefore often missed when customers required their attention. When we finally ordered food, we only had flatbread with dips for starters as we were just excited for the mains. The flatbreads took over 30 mins to come out and I had to chase up for them. By this point we’ve been here over an hour. After starters I felt the wait for mains was also too long. But we are fairly chill people so just enjoyed our drinks and chat! Places really a miss a trick that simple communication goes a long way. Just pop your head over to a table check in on them .. apologise for the wait and I guarantee people will feel instantly better. Food was amazing only critic would be lack of accompanying side dishes on the menu.

   The food, as always was stunning and the service was perfect. The only thing that lets it down is the room temperature. It’s a cold building and although we were sat next to a heater no heat could be felt. After and hour or so we really began to feel the cold.

   This was an excellent all round pre Christmas Saturday night meal out. Great food with Lebanese and Spanish influences and an intimate and cosy ambience. Having only just discovered Zekki’s we were disappointed to hear it is intending to close at the end of December. Please come back in the Spring and open up again!

   Great food fab service definitely coming back. The food option for vegan and vegetarian was excellent. The flat breads you can die for.

   Outstanding food, wonderful flavours, excellent service. Really hope they find a new venue after 28 December. It’ll be a great loss otherwise.

   Excellent as usual. Attentive staff. Food delicious great fusion of flavours and texture. Pudding limited but lovely end to the meal.
