For 20years, Chef Victor Wang and Owner Chiara Covelli have reigned over their highly acclaimed restaurant… Zen Forrest… known for its Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. Award winning lunches and Dinner. Private events, cooking classes. Zen Forrest was known for amazing food, sake, wine and imported and local beers.
When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar.

Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.

    We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Zen Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our meal. Our server, Dora, was truly exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that every detail of our meal was perfect. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert preparation. The combination of outstanding service and delicious cuisine made for a memorable evening. A huge thank you to Dora and the entire team at Zen Kitchen for making our experience so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

    We tried Zen for the first time on Valentine’s Day and we were really impressed. We started with the lychee tea which was delicious, we had some dumplings and sushi which were very good. My boyfriend had shrimp pad Thai and I had the zesty orange chicken and both were delicious. The real star was the vegetable lo mein, seriously so good, I highly recommend it. We finished our meal with espresso martinis which may have been the best ones we’ve ever had. Our server gave us awesome recommendations and walked us through the menu.

    Im glad we were seated in the back room, not near the bar as we could enjoy the music but still able to talk and hear each other. Id like the pot of tea to be refillable ..It seemed to cool off very quickly to enjoy from appetizers through the meal. Very good food and experience .

    We used to eat at Zen Forest and loved it. This is the first we have been here to this new location and we will definitely be back. Everything was wonderful.

    Had a great meal. Only issue was that it was one of the coldest winter days in Fl and they don’t have heat. It was a little chilly

    Our food and server, Tony, were outstanding. My niece and her husband are foodies and they supported our enthusiasm for the entrees. However, I had a note on my OpenTable reservation that I wanted the server to just hand me the check without any discussion. I don't know if OpenTable didn't include the note or if it wasn't read by the hostess, but we ended up at the end of meal with a discussion that should not have happened.
