Hej & Servus at Scandic Macherei, the hip quarter in Munich's Berg am Laim district.
For a fair 15 euros, we serve our popular business lunch including water with a weekly changing menu from Tuesday to Thursday. Tarte flambée and vital dishes with and without meat freshly prepared.
The culinary evening at the Zieglerei is best started with 3 kinds of Smørrebrød, which is ideal for sharing, by the way. Seasonal dishes with a Scandinavian-Bavarian twist determine the signature of our dinner menu.
Our wine list offers enjoyable organic wines, fresh from the barrel we serve Giesinger Erhellung, a quaffable cellar beer brewed in the district next door.
In the Zieglerei you sit comfortably seated with a view of our huge bar. How about a Cosmopolitan based on organic orange as an aperitif or as a new classic, an espresso martini as a digestive?
We love variety and live authentic service in a hygge atmosphere.

Es gibt 3 Mittagsgerichte zur Auswahl, von denen mind. eins vegetarisch ist. Die Qualität ist sehr gut, dementsprechend ist auch der Preis etwas höher. Alle Mittagsgerichte kosten 15€, egal ob Fisch, Fleisch oder vegetarisch. Dafür gibt es aber für die Mittagsgäste sehr leckeren Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten für 1€.

Food was excellent, real home cooked. Well balanced flavours, temperature of food was very well. I had grilled salmon with a crispy skin - cooked to the point. My friends had salmon tartare and loved it. Very nice service team. Surprisingly busy restaurant for a ‘normal’ Tuesday…

Real home cooked food, prepared and plated with passion, patience, attention to detail and care. Local ingredients. Sounds like I’m over the moon about this place but they are really doing a great job. I can only recommend to come and to find out yourself. I’m regularly there for dinner. Small but diverse menue which changes every four months, I believe. Enjoy!

Ich habe für 12:30 reservieren können, im Restaurant aber dann erfahren, dass erst am Abend geöffnet ist! Kommt schlecht, wenn man einen Gast ausführen möchte!!

Wenn Sie einen Aufenthalt im Hotel Scandic planen und nach einer hervorragenden Essensmöglichkeit suchen, dann sollten Sie unbedingt das Restaurant Zieglerei ausprobieren. Während unseres dreitägigen Aufenthalts besuchten wir das Restaurant gleich zweimal. Trotz der übersichtlichen Speisekarte wurden wir mit ausgezeichneten Gerichten verwöhnt. Die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens waren einfach hervorragend. Wir können das Restaurant Zieglerei ohne Vorbehalte weiterempfehlen.

Exceptionally busy because of a full house due to snow storm and all transport cancelled. Staff managed calmly and with grace making guests feel welcomed. Good ambience, simple menu with good food.

Alles super und voll zufrieden. Kleine Verbesserungs- Anmerkung: Zu viele Fernbedienungen, Köpfe und Funktionen im Zimmer. Dazu gibt es leider keinerlei Beschreibungen.
