   We are foodies. The food at Medure was exceptional. We are leaving for Paris in 4 days and are eating at some of its finest restaurants, several of which we recently enjoyed just this past August. My wife’s comment after enjoying our dinner at Medure, “Paris better step up its game”. And the service… we requested Kat, she’s the best. She’s real, tells it like it is and enjoys her place at Medure. She really makes us feel like family. Just a treasure to be around. Fantastic. Medure is a treasure here at the beach for people who enjoy relaxed fine dining.

   Absolutely wonderful experience. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere as well. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves.

   Medure’s - So disappointed! On February 20th I made a reservation for my birthday dinner for April 5th. When we arrived at the restaurant we were asked to wait while the staff reset a table. Right as we were being escorted to our table, the receptionist asked us to wait and she changed us to a different table. The girl who was taking us to our table was confused, but 2 of us were escorted to a 4 top in the middle of 3 lanes of foot traffic. We asked to be seated at a different table out of the foot traffic, a booth that we saw available, or our original table. We were led back to the front. A couple who had just arrived reminded the receptionist that they had called in last week to reserve a quiet table and they were immediately seated at the booth. We were told that we could either sit at the high traffic table or in the bar where the final four basketball game was playing. We believe that we were lied to in that our original table was given to someone else and disrespected, given that we made the reservation 6 weeks in advance. We felt we didn’t have any other choice than to leave. We are so disappointed in that Medure’s used to be our go to for special events and we will likely not go back there.

   Service was great. Food was great. We got the seafood cake , fish chowder, and the meatloaf, and souffle for dessert. I could have used more gravy/sauce on the meatloaf, but other than that everything was perfect

   We were there at 7 pm , ordered drinks , salad and appetizers which we got fairly quick except for the cheese board which it took long time to arrive, after placing the entrees we waited for at least an hour and half , asked the server to check on the food and she said almost ready , waited another good 20 minutes and had to ask for it to go since it’s a school night,manger gave us a chocolate cake for free, very disappointed.

   Sat at Chef’s table, we enjoy the “kitchen show”, and again weren’t disappointed! Quickly got menus and water, then they gave us time to look at wine menu. No rush. My octopus app was delicious, tender and just enough. Caesar salad for my wife just as good. I had the special scallops entree-very good. My wife ordered the fish Francese. Great night for or us. The couple seated across from us had asked for a special 5 course meal with wines for their anniversary, looked great. Something to think about in the future

    We had a wonderful birthday celebration tonight. The service and food were wonderful. We were able to meet the pastry chef who made our favorite dessert.
