The place is a little hard to find, sort of on an alley off an alley and perhaps a little rough looking area (though no safety concerns). But once you find the place, it is simple and beautiful inside.
From start to finish, the food was incredible. We sat at the bar counter and watched the chef make ever dish with incredible precision and deftness. It was great to watch and even better to eat.
It is true omakase. There is no menu and the chef makes what is fresh caught that day. We had probably 20 individual dishes and pieces over the course of the evening and every one was really great. It’s literally the best Japanese food experience I’ve ever had
We also added the optional sake pairings. I am definitely not a sake expert, but I found each one to be very good and unique. They did seem to pair well with the course.

A couple notes.
They want you to prepay the dining fee (which was 5500 NT$ for two). We received an emailed link for bank transfer- which didn’t work for us. We had the hotel call and it was ok to pay there
They don’t take cc. So cash or prepay.
