    Had a very good meal when The Owl first reopened. The festive menu was a bit disappointing. Generous portions of meat but would have liked more variety of vegetables. Had to ask for our starter as it was already pre-booked and after half an hour of sitting at the table, there was no sign of any food! Our servers were nice, polite and helpful when asked. The pudding was a bit disappointing too. Hoping the normal menu will prove a safer bet in the future.

    Had a lovely lunch and catch up with our besties at this pub. Have visited there many times and have never been disappointed with the food, service and ambiance. It’s quite expensive but then where isn’t, so very happy to recommend this venue as a great place to meet friends and family.

    Familiar with the Owl for years. A re-curb brought us back after previous disappointments. No discernible improvement in comfort or furniture. Service at mid-week lunch was interminably slow. Food very average overall and two pies were over-cooked. Celebration meal so no complaint made to spoil the moment. Very disappointing and will not return on this showing. Meal and drink prices acceptable.

    Lovely venue with beautiful surroundings and food excellent and drinks good variety coffee good Dog friendly too The staff are lovely too Have been 3 times and will certainly go there again

    Brilliant from start to finish. Particularly good food. A cut above pub grub. I’m going back and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Owl to my friends

    What a great place , we were a party of four for Sunday lunch, and what a lunch, it was first class and very reasonable too, would recommend to everyone, but would advise to book your table.
