   Loved it. Service is spectacular and the server is super knowledgeable and knows everything about the dishes. Ambient is beautiful and very cozy. Food was excellent, tasteful and perfectly cooked! Will definitely return more times.

   Rive Cafe is such a special spot and so tranquil. The service was amazing, our server was attentive but not in your face. We all had the YYC menu. Three courses with a veggie appetizer, choice for the main and a dessert. It was just the right amount of food. Tables are small but spaced out nicely so lots of privacy. It was lovely.    First time eating here but we’ll be back. Had the set menu from YYCExperience and it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and our server, Michael, was top notch!

   We went for the YYC Experience lunch today, but somehow didn't realize that the booking was not available on the weekends. The manager (I think) was so lovely. Once we realized we couldn't do the YYC Exp, we decided to adjust our days plans and have a nice coffee and find another spot...if we could still get a reservation somewhere. He came over to apologize for any confusion and offered us a lovely plate of in-house baked treats to have with our coffee. They were absolutely delicious. Our server who was not at all phased by our change of plans and made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed this little quick moment at River Cafe so much that we will definitely be back. We appreciated the kindness and generosity so much. Thank you for the great experience!

    An excellent experience, as usual. Food was delicious, service was friendly and professional, but atmosphere was lovely. We were too full to eat our dessert so we had had them wrap it up for us to take home. When we got home and opened the package, we were very surprised to see how beautifully presented it was, in the little takeout box. A wonderful surprise.
