    We were seated adjacent to both the bar and the kitchen, both circumstances were not in keeping with our wishes, the quality of food and service. Disappointing as it was rather noisy. Food was reasonably good and the service, while pretentious was generally efficient. I was upcharged for a glass of wine I ordered.

    Waitress was not attentive ..Took the kitchen 3x to get our steaks cooked correctly. Never received our salads . Once I asked for the manager he did make it right however the waitress and multiple waits did put a damper on our birthday celebration.

    We normally go to the Ruth Chris in Uptown charlotte and we’ve never had service or a meal like this. It was my husbands birthday so we ordered the Tomahawk steak with two signature side, appetizer and cocktails. It had so much fat we couldn’t eat it. The manager came to our table and welcomed us before the meal came and told us he would be back after our steak came to the table. He never came back. The waitress came to our table three times and asked how everything was, I told her three times the steak was filled with fat and she just blinked and smiled and didn’t even offer to get the manager. My husband doesn’t like send food back so we just paid $260 for a fatty greasy bone. Very disappointing. I highly recommend if you have a steak that has chunks (more than 4 inches) of fat in it, don’t serve it to customer. Salvage the meat that you can but serving that much fat to a customer is not only unhealthy but insulting. Either way we made the best of our experience even though we were disappointed in the steak and lack of understanding and from the server.

    This is our 15-20 time to enjoy a meal at Ruth's Chris. As usual, it was wonderful. The mashed garlic potatoes were creamy and delicious and the filet cooked to perfection. Easily the best steak in town. Look forward d to our next visit. Moreover, we always ask for our personal waiter (Bryan). He is highly attentive and very comfortable to interact with....

    We had a wonderful meal before a Broadway show. Service was great. Food was excellent. Wine is too expensive. Overall 5 stars.
