1977年創業のJacmel Inn（ジャクメルイン）は、6ヶ月を費やして改装した1888年築の旧住宅を利用しています。広さ2.2エーカーの敷地内にある歴史的な2階建ての建物で、ハモンドの歴史あるダウンタウンの中心部から9ブロックの場所に位置しています。緑豊かな庭園、新しいパティオ、広々とした駐車場を併設するJacmel Innは、96km先のニューオーリンズから車で来る価値のある料理のオアシスです。メニューは、新鮮なルイジアナ産シーフードと調理技術を使って調理する伝統的なルイジアナ文化に由来する料理と、31年間提供しているアイオワ州のコーンフェッドビーフの見事なステーキとともに長年にわたって進化してきました。料理長Doyle Orlandoが作り上げるメニューは季節ごとに入れ替わります。ワインメーカー・シリーズとともに楽しむディナーは、20年間大変人気を博しています。店内にはカリブ海、航海、ニューイングランドのインが調和した雰囲気が漂い、カジュアルまたはシンフォニーに行くような服装で快適にお過ごしください。
