SALT was amazing! The food tasted great, the drinks were delicious, and the PB&J bar was a tasty dessert to finish our experience. The ambience was very romantic and the noise level was perfect to maintain a private conversation at a normal level. The waiter & kitchen staff were great at accommodating food allergies and checking in with us about our different options for modifications.

My girlfriend and I love this establishment! Larry and Jessica always do a fantastic job on making sure every guest is taken care of at all of their many wonderful places that we adore. We always come back.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and everything was fabulous. The ambiance was perfect, it wasn’t too loud or bright. The food was spectacular! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating an event or just to have a nice dinner.

Excellent experience. The menu is limited which is not a negative. Every dish is well thought out and prepared to perfection. We enjoyed every morsel.

The wonderful food and atmosphere has kept us coming back for years and every year it gets better and better. All the food is impressive but the duck is a must!

My sister and I ate at Salt on January 30. We ordered salt sips and they were fresh, and unique. We ordered the burrata-and that was excellent! My sister had the pear salad and potato and leek soup!! Delicious! I ordered the scallops and roasted Brussels sprouts! The flavors of all our choices were fantastic!! The head chef came out to greet us as well as many servers. Each one was very knowledgeable about the menu and they were very attentive!! We also ordered dessert, and each was excellent but we were stuffed!! I would highly recommend Salt!! I love that almost everything is locally sourced. My top dining experience while visiting Mission Texas.

I’ve visited Salt several times and typically enjoy the experience, but our recent visit left much to be desired. The food was just okay—certainly not up to the standards we’ve come to expect. The tomatoes were overripe and so squishy, and the steak was riddled with tendons, making it tough to enjoy. Additionally, the salt board felt lacking in variety, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, the service was awful. We weren't given a drink menu, and after ordering drinks, our waiter vanished, leaving us to summon another staff member just to place our order. It took us asking for a dessert menu, and when I had a question, it was the restaurant manager who answered because our waiter was completely inattentive. I’ve never had such a negative experience at Salt before, and it’s made me reconsider dining there again. The quality of ingredients seems to be slipping, as I’ve never encountered bad cuts of meat or tomatoes during previous visits. I sincerely hope they address these issues, as I’d love to see Salt return to its former glory.

Staff was excellent and provided great service. Everyone from the Bartender, to the server, to the chef whom I had the pleasure of speaking to while seated at the chefs counter/table. Food was on point. Got to try a couple of new dishes, including the pork shank with green mole. Top notch
