    It’s an open kitchen and one expects to hear the kitchen staff. But the chef was a little bit obnoxious with his underlings. Food and service was excellent. Best pesto I’ve tasted in a long time.

    Honestly the best Italian in Manchester! Amazing food and staff, it’s probably one of my favs to be honest! Luigi was amazing tonight, super friendly, checked in on us at the right times and served us with a big smile, couldn’t ask for more!

    The food was gorgeous but unfortunately was spoiled with poor service. The staff did their best but it seemed they were short staffed as the waiters had to make the cocktails/drinks as well .

    The food and service was good, the only issue was, we had a party of 4, we arrived shown to our table, no one came to take a drinks order, the a member of staff came and took our food order and our drinks order, one member of our party had a pizza, which arrived in good time, the other 3 had pasta dishes 2 had to wait 5 mins after the pizza and 1 had to wait 10 mins after the pizza, which is not good service, we mentioned this twice to staff and the second one removed the service charge of the bill, which was ok, but not a good experience when the meals arrive at different times instead of all at once.

    First time experience and we loved it. Food was delicious and arrived in good time. Tone of the restaurant was nice and relaxed. Difficult to tell from the front that the restaurant was situated at the back of the shop.

    Prior to booking I had reached out to the team via instagram in order to clarify the menu differences between the two restaurants. I had an extremely helpful, warm and polite reply. However our experience at the restaurant was a complete contrast. It was thoroughly disappointing and underwhelming. Although my starter was lovely, our experience was disrupted by the arrival of our mains which were put down adjacent to the starters we were eating. I was a bit confused at first as to what had happened and then decided to speak to a member of staff who said “I didn’t take your order so I don’t know” but then eventually followed me back to my table so I could show her the carbonara next to my starter. The lady got the man who took our order & he agreed it was odd. When he came over to clear our starter plates, he spoke to us again & insisted it was the kitchen’s mistake. Whether or not it was the kitchen’s mistake, there should have been some common sense to not place it down once it was obvious we were eating our starters. Especially as they agreed it wasn’t right? Even the lady on the table next to us said that was weird I don’t know why they did that. I then saw the food be put under the hot lamp again, as more food was plated up I couldn’t see if ours was still under the lamp the whole time but this was overall unimpressive. When my carbonara came I was throughly disappointed as it was one of the worst carbonara. I have had. Even without cream being mentioned on the menu, this was far from a traditional carbonara. Overall there was no accountability and there were no apologies. We simply wanted to pay the bill and leave. Foolishly on our part my partner paid the service tip which we really shouldn’t have and I would have flagged if I had seen the receipt breakdown prior to him paying. Given our poor service I was quite frankly surprised that they had not even taken the gratuity straight off the bill. Needless to say I do not recommend the service or food.

    Enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly but wish there was more options for people who eat halal.Would definitely come back again!

    Brilliant food,good vibes and very good service would 100% recommend.The young Asian fella was very helpful and explained the menu well to me and my mrs :)
