Wanted to see what Italian food in San Juan was like. It was good, and there were some interesting selections. We would go again.

My experience was of a busy restaurant with very little organisation's. I had a reservation and waited 30 minutes to be seated. Then felt rushed to finish my meal.

Clams could not be chewed, filet was not a filet, Cesar salad come out with no dressing, caprese salad mozzarella was not fresh, tomato was maybe spoiled

I had high expectations for Serafina Puerto Rico, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Service was incredibly slow, our food took over an hour to arrive, and no one bothered to check on us or even refill our water. To make matters worse, there was a bug in one of our martinis, which was completely unacceptable. On top of that, the seating was soaked, making it an uncomfortable dining experience. For the price and reputation, I expected way better. Definitely not worth the hassle.

The place was understaffed and. Under stocked. We waited online for the host for 20 minutes and when we get up to her, was told they were running 20 more minutes behind. We requested indoor but got sat outdoor. We ordered a bottle of wine only for the waitress to come back 25 minutes later telling us the were sold out of wine. Food took forever, was bland and not tasty. The server was arguing that it was good. Then for dessert, ordered a slice of cake again only to be told 20 minutes later they were sold out of cake Just a place I would never go back to.

We have been here many times. Food is usually very good to excellent. People are very nice. But last night they were short staffed and it showed. Food came out of order. Forgot one of the kids meals. Management came to apologize and comped a few things. Which was nice. They were having an Off night. Still would recommend.

The food was good, but the service was terrible. We waited a half hour for our waiter to even approach our table. He explained that the kitched was short staffed, so everything was behind. It was at least an hour and a half from the time that we sat until we got our entrees. The waiter asked if we wanted anything in the meantime. I asked for some bread and butter. He brought bread, but it was toasted (I'm assuming for the bruschetta that was on the menu) and cold which made it very difficult to eat with the frozen butter. I rarely write bad reviews or complain, but this meal was unbearable.
