Spencer's is one of Salt Lake City's oldest steakhouses that continue to deliver contemporary dishes that surprise the locals featuring Prime steaks.     Overly priced. Salmon was overcooked and dry. Risotto was gluey. Waiter was overbearing and pushing pricey items on us. Will not return.

    Best steak I've eaten. Very well seasoned! Asparagus and macaroni were delicious. Servers Jaime and Rene were outstanding. We really enjoyed the rare room.

    My husband and I splurge once a year to come here for his birthday. We've never been disappointed. They have amazing servers and service overall. There were a few workers there who recommended the Huckleberry Cobbler and it was outstanding. We'd go there just for the dessert but the food is also amazing too. Never dissapoints!

    Our experience was excellent. We had a reservation for 530 but got there early and was able to be seated quickly. Our server was pleasant and wished us a happy anniversary and made sure that we had a good time. We would go back again

    The service was excellent and exactly what I expected, it was the highlight of my experience. However, the food was very disappointing. I ordered the porterhouse steak, and despite trying multiple sauces, the taste was underwhelming. It seemed like it was cooked without any seasoning, leaving it bland even after adding sauce. No matter how much I tried to enhance the flavor, it just didn’t meet expectations. The sides were equally underwhelming. The loaded potatoes lacked flavor, and the carrots had an unpleasant bitterness. Given the price point, I expected a much better dining experience, especially compared to other steakhouses in the SLC area I've been to like Fleming’s, Ruth’s Chris, Christopher’s, and STK. Unfortunately, this meal fell far short of what I’ve had at similarly priced restaurants.
