Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, The Chefs’ House is an innovative, student-focused concept restaurant where students from George Brown College's Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts have the opportunity to learn from the best teacher - experience. It also gives the public the opportunity to experience a relaxed urban dining experience.

For parties of 8 guests or more, please call for reservations.

    At The Chefs' House, you can host an event with us through our Private Dining service. Working with our Chef de Cuisine, you can design the menu to be exactly the way you want it. Perhaps a French theme for your anniversary dinner to recall your honeymoon in Provence? Or maybe a carnivorous menu for a reunion with your old housemates? Or possibly an elegant and seasonal vegetarian dinner for a group of environmentally conscious friends paying a visit to the city? Whatever it is, The Chefs' House staff and students will work with you to make sure your special event is everything you imagined - and more.

                          A great find. It was all great. If you like fast, I found the service extremely quick!!! The staff - great. The food - great and very well priced. Good value. The experience - great.

                          We were very impressed with the Winterlicious menu and our lunch experience! Great food, presented in a unit manner. Service was great too - lots of staff, attentive and pleasant. Love the decor of the historic building. We will return!

                          Broccolini Salad: The broccolini was likely fresh and lightly dressed, offering a balance of bitterness and crunch. A good start to our meal. Sun choke soup had a rich, nutty flavor with a smooth texture, perfect for warming up. Chicken Pibil a fantastic choice! This traditional Mexican dish would have had tender, slow-cooked chicken infused with smoky, tangy flavors from achiote, taste good.Seabream is a delicate fish with a mild, sweet flavor. If it was prepared well, a crispy skin with a tender, flaky interior. Likely a lighter, refreshing dish to balance the richness of the chicken pibil.Sticky Toffee Pudding,a classic British favorite! The rich, moist sponge soaked in a decadent toffee sauce have been comforting and indulgent.Chocolate Crème Brûlée, the contrast between the crispy caramelized top and the silky chocolate custard beneath sounds divine. It would have provided a satisfying end to the meal with that perfect balance of sweetness and depth from the chocolate.

                          I recommend The Chef's House to many friends, who have never been disappointed. We have supported this restaurant over the years especially during the Summerlicious and Winterlicious. The meals are well prepared using Canadian meat products and vegetables and are of the best quality. Their meals are superbly decorated and displayed on your plate and better yet, most delicious when eaten. Their desserts are the best! Service is excellent as their staff is well trained. Today, Rashni, our student server was very friendly and attended to our needs promptly and always with a smile. Do congratulate her from the four of us at the table as we were well taken care of. I highly recommend the Chef's House be a MUST GO TO restaurant, when you are in downtown Toronto. Thank you and Good Luck!

                          Always amazing.. we always look forward towards winterlicious n summerlicious at the chef's house. The students always give the best service and the food always delicious n beautiful.
