The vibe is chill and you really feel like you’re walking into a secret place. It’s a pretty low light setting so it took a little time for the eyes to adjust to see the entire setting which is really cool. Before I lay down this evening out, I want to be clear we will be going back under different circumstances. So, like most of you we had to book far in advance se we had plenty of time to review the menu and had a good idea of what we wanted. However, on this night we were offered a limited 3 course menu. We had the choice of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and 3 desserts. And none of them are what were discussed as “must try’s” in the previous reviews. So we went with it. On this night you ordered everything at one time. Appetizer, entree and dessert. The appetizer came out immediately, (which tasted excellent). Out of the three entree options Gnochhi, New York Steak and something that was pretty weird. We went with the steak. The flavor was really good, however it was a was a little undercooked. We had time to enjoy the appetizer as the steak was being cooked close to temperature. So we began to enjoy our meal when about half way through the main course our dessert was brought to the table. So it sat and the ice cream melted while I rushed to eat the rest of my meal. The service was lackluster, service walked by many times not asking if there was anything else we needed. Until it was time to bring the check. From start to finish we were in and out in under an hour. So we didn’t really get to enjoy our meal. For a $200 dinner for two I would expect a little more. The experience and the atmosphere of the place was worth the spend. The food and most of all service, you can get way better for way less within a block and not feel like you’re in a drive through.
