   ウェイターは、私たちが日本人だとわかってるはずなのに、メニューの説明を早口の英語でまくしたて、こちらが理解してるか気にも留めない。 店内は狭くて騒がしく、ゆっくり食事する雰囲気ではない。 一方、値段はそれなりで、チップ抜きでひとり100ドル以上。一緒に行った娘はお酒を全く飲まなかったのにこの値段は･･･

   人気カフェレストランもマンハッタンに3店舗あるので以前より気軽に利用できるように。 ハンバーガーはクリスピーなベーコンにジューシーなパテとたっぷりレタスでバランス良し、味も良し！これでもかという沢山のポテトはさすがアメリカン^^; バーエリアも雰囲気が良いので食事後のカクテル利用もオススメです。

   I met with some friends to have breakfast and we really liked the place and the food! However, the service was not that great. First, when I asked the hostess if we could have a booth, she looked upset even though the restaurant was half empty. And then, we only saw our waitress three times, when she came to greet us, when she brought our drinks and took the order and then when she dropped the check. My friend’s wanted to have a second round of drinks and we had to look for her because she never checked on us when we got our food neither had her checking if we wanted some more drinks.

   I think The Smith is a great place to eat & a comfortable environment. The space inside feels open and the ambience is nice. I do think the prices have gone up about $3 a dish since we were there over 6 months ago. The food was very good in any event and the home fries were tasty. The service was very good.
