Good selection of beers, but terrible food. How can a Belgian restaurant have processed fries? Despicable!

Adriana, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about our restaurant. We genuinely appreciate and value your patronage. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we take all reviews seriously. I am sorry that you did not enjoy our fries while you were here. Although we would love to be able to make our own fries in house, our kitchen is quite small and we do not have enough space to make and store them. Almost everything else we make is homemade and we look to source the best possible fries that are available. Bar tables def don’t get the same service from bartender instead of a designated server. So be prepared if you’re super hungry lol to wait.

If you want a vibe like a speakeasy, this is for you! We loved everything -- the drinks, foods, waiter. Mike D was the best. He's like a toned down Chris Farley! Highly recommend the flatbreads and the croquettes. Expansive German beer list and cocktails.

One of the best restaurants in Washington DC. No wonder you need to make reservation week or two in advance. We had mussels, chicken, flatbread. All delicious! Manager Teddy was very accommodating.

The food and service were great. We got the mussels and were pleased at the authentic taste. Just note that the bar and dining area are next to each other so it was very loud and difficult to hear our conversation.

We checked this out because it was on my list of places. Turns out it was restaurant week so we essentially got a 3 course meal for $40 per person. Great way to try a bunch of different things on the menu. All of which was fantastic.
