    日本人です。 はっきり言って日本の寿司を知っている方にとってはコスパがかなり悪く感じると思います。 素材の旨さを引き立たせず、余計な味付けに頼りすぎている感が否めない。

The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—sophisticated but not pretentious, making it ideal for both special occasions and casual nights out. The service at Umi is impeccable. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, offering knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. From the moment we were seated, everything felt seamless, from drink refills to perfectly timed dish arrivals. As for the food, every bite reflected freshness and precision. The sushi was expertly crafted, with high-quality fish that practically melted in your mouth. Signature rolls offered a creative twist without overpowering the delicate flavors of the ingredients. The hot dishes were equally impressive, with standout items like the miso-glazed black cod and tempura that was light and crisp. Pricing is on par with similar high-end sushi spots, making it a great value given the quality of food and overall experience. Umi proves that you don’t have to compromise when it comes to great sushi, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. Highly recommended!

    If you like really dark really loud places with great tasting food and terrible service this is the place for you. We were really excited and there are servers everywhere but they never came to the table. The actual food was delicious.

    Four of us. 25 minutes late to be seated. No big deal. Happens. But once seated, we couldn’t get server to take our order. When we did, one person’s order was delivered in less than 10 minutes. The other order for three people of rolls and sushi- sushi delivered 20 minutes AFTER first person’s order (hot entree so went ahead and ate alone), then 30 minutes after our sushi was delivered, we kept asking for the roles. Finally came- completely finished everything else 30 minutes earlier. Said kitchen was backed up, no way, they forgot. 450 for late seating, terrible service and even later food. It’s been our go to for sushi. No longer.
