    We were greeted at the door and taken to our table (we were 15 min early). We absolutely loved each dish that was brought to the table - very tasty. The service was very prompt and our waitress spent time talking to us afterward (which was great). Definitely going back - all four of us enjoyed everything!

    The restaurant was clearly in high demand. Although our reservation was for 8:00 PM on a Wednesday, we arrived at 7:55 PM and were seated at 8:15 PM. Our server, Railey, delivered exceptional service throughout the evening. Despite the bustling atmosphere, he remained patient, attentive, and consistently greeted us with a smile. In contrast, we encountered a female staff member—though her role was unclear, whether waitress or manager—whose demeanor was markedly different. She introduced our six-course YYC EXP menu in an exceedingly brief manner, offering her explanations in under two seconds and without any hint of a smile. This starkly contrasted with the more enthusiastic service observed at the adjacent white table. The cuisine was outstanding, with each dish showcasing creative ingenuity. The scallop Wellington, in particular, stood out as a highlight, reflecting the remarkable skills and vision of the head chef.

    Made a reservation to celebrate a milestone birthday and arrived to see the restaurant closed. Disappointing that there was no communication that they’d be closed or to let us know they couldn’t honour our reservation. Would welcome a response from the owners to articulate the reason for the lack of communication on the closure. Unfortunate that after 16 years in business they seem to have lost their way.

    We did the YYC Exp menu. Food was excellent and service was great. Chef was very creative with the foie gras and cotton candy appy!

    Hands down the best dinner experience I have had in Calgary. The place was beautiful, the food was some of the best I've ever tasted in my life, and the overall experience was so good.

    Outstanding for a date night. The seafood was perfectly cooked and all the little surprises and delights (chef's amuse bouche, sea salt cookies and amazing service) remind us why this is a Calgary staple. The bistro vibe with incredible food and service made our night.
