We held our annual family birthday celebration for my wife and daughter (birthdays are one day apart) at Vittoria's. We had a 6:15 PM reservation. We arrived a little before 6PM. Two of our party arrived closer to 6:10 PM otherwise it appeared that they would have seated us early (which is perfectly understandable). My mom, who is handicapped, stood while we waited. There aren't many places to sit if you are waiting for a table. Just as the remainder of our party arrived, one of the staff brought a chair for mom to sit on. That was a very nice gesture on their part. Our table was in a cozy back corner at the opposite end of the restaurant from the door. It had ample space for the 6 of us and was elegantly set. Our server greeted us a minute or two after we sat down. She gave us extra time to read the drink menu and returned promptly to take our drink order. The drinks arrived quickly and were very good, albeit a bit expensive, but then what restaurant isn't charging double digits for any alcoholic drinks these days. Two of us ordered the Italian Wedding Soup. My mom (who is 100% Italian) didn't care for it. I ate it and deemed it 'fair' as did the other member of our group that ordered it. One of our group ordered a Caesar Salad and thought it was good. Two of us ordered the Shrimp and Scallops Parmesan. The shrimp and scallops were huge and they were fresh. The marinara sauce was ok - a bit tasty but nothing to write home about. One of us had Chicken Piccata and she said that it was very good. One of us ordered the Veal Marsala and did enjoy it although they weren't a fan of the garlic mashed potatoes. Another member of our group ordered the Seafood Vittoria and said that it was excellent. It has sauteed scallops, shrimp, clams, mussels, with mushrooms, garlic, and olive oil. Tossed with fettuccine pasta with Alfredo sauce. We did not order dessert because we had some birthday cake waiting for us at home. Overall, Vittoria was a good experience.
