Welcome to our classroom! Waterleaf, located in College of DuPage’s Culinary & Hospitality Center, is a dining experience that offers real-life training to Culinary, Baking & Pastry Arts, and Hospitality students. Patrons will enjoy menus utilizing fresh regional and seasonal ingredients prepared by Culinary & Pastry students as well as attentive service from our student servers.
Limited seating is available at each event and reservations are required. Reservations may be made until an event is sold out. For parties of 6 or more, please call us directly at 630-942-2284.

So much fun as usual to dine and enjoy the learning experience of the students. There are plenty of rough edges, but overall a terrific experience. The food is always good, and frequently outstanding. The value is unmatched. We could barely prepare a similar meal at home for this cost, (assuming we had the skills) and then we’d do all the work. Also great to get to contribute to the training of our next generation of service professionals.

Fantastic prix fixe meal served by wonderful students. No need to go to Chicago for a Michelin-like experience when the future stars are in training at COD.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Delicious food, great service by the students, and a fabulous price. I only wish it was open every day!

Outstanding food, service and hospitality! The chefs, students and administrators are at the Top of their game creating exciting flavors and a refined atmosphere, all while in a teaching environment. Well Done!!!

The food was amazing, the hospitality was on the scale of 1 to 10, it was a 20. Highly recommend! Have previously been there many times and the food has always been A+.

The Waterleaf crew definitely had their "A" game going today. The NY menu was outstanding. Our waitress, Lucia, was excellent. Today, "Life Tastes Good".

As usual, a very nice experience. The flat iron steak was rare or mid-rare which is underdone for me. Everything else was excellent. Had to ask the server to slow down as they told us our entree was ready when we were only half way done with our salad and asked if we wanted boxes when we still in the middle of eating our entree.
