シェフのタイラー・フローレンスは、クオリティの高さとスタイルに対する情熱をサンフランシスコの新たなフラッグシップ・レストランWayfare Tavernに実現させました。典型的なサンフランシスコのタバーンで、20世紀の変わり目の地元料理にインスピレーションを得た本格的なアメリカ料理を提供しています。メニューは昔ながらのコンフォート・フードから、素朴な珍味まで多岐にわたります。ドリンクメニューには、フローレンス自身のレーベルのワインを含む地元のワイン、質の高いクラフトビール、オーガニックのルートビア、古典的なビクトリア時代のカクテルを取り揃えています。

Wayfare Tavernは3フロアともビクトリア朝のパーラーやエドワード朝の紳士クラブを思わせる歴史的な正確さを保つ作りで、正装からジーンズ姿まであらゆる姿の人々で賑わいます。オープンキッチンにあるChef's Counterのスツールに座って、シェフが料理する姿を眺めたり、ライブラリー＆ビリヤードルームでビリヤードを楽しめます。Wayfare Tavernでは1世紀前を再現した他に類をみない食事体験が可能です。写真：John Lee

                                            エッグ、シュリンプ、バーガーとオリジナリティがあり、アメリカらしからぬ美味しさがよかった。ワインも豊富でリーゾナブル。場所がらか、客層もよく。デザートはアメリカ的だが、ペアリングのデザートワインが好感。再訪するつもり。

                                            We live Wayfare tavern and it’s a must do on our list whenever we come to San Francisco. We have probably been to this spot over a handful of times over the past ten years. The food is always on point and just as I remember from the previous time. The pop overs are delicious and drinks are great as well. We have sat at the bar, upstairs and outside, each offering a different vibe, but all are great. I see some reviews about the noise level and the level of service declining. I was paying attention to that on our most recent visit and didn’t feel that way at all. My husband noted that he enjoys that you can sort of lock into your own world and conversation, but also hear a little hustle and bustle that makes an efficient kitchen run while downstairs. It’s refreshing, while not overwhelming or stuffy. I love this place and it has held up to our expectations each time and will continue to be on our must visit list!

                                            From drinks to dessert the visit was perfect. The steak dinner and salmon was superb. Don’t sleep on the doughnuts.

                                            The wait time for food was wayyyy too long. Waited half an hour for starter deviled eggs and another half an hour to wait for main course. The steak was decent. The rest are nothing special. The fried chicken was too dry to worth 35 dollars. The butter pasta for kids have no flavor. The noise level was too loud with loud music and people talking. The light was too dimmed for people to read the menu. The bread was amazing followed by the cocktail. The waiter can try harder. May help with enhance the customer services experience.
